People are expected to work hard at their jobs, not only to provide financially for their families, but also to develop great employment opportunities for their future. A Louisiana woman’s good employment record is on the line following a recent felony arrest. According to the report, the 51-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly stealing money from her employer. She was charged with felony theft and was booked into the Beauregard Parish Jail, located north of Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. Bond was set at $50,000 for the accused employee.
Reportedly, the arrest was made after the authorities and FBI started to investigate the alleged theft on March 20. The woman apparently went to the police in order to talk with local detectives. Police claim that the woman wanted to turn herself in for embezzling money from her company through wire transfers. It was reported that the woman had been committing the crime for almost 11 years. The suspect was employed by the company for 15 years. The authorities, together with the FBI, continued to investigate because they suspect wire fraud.
